Yaumatei Gardener
We first met Uncle Mui on a Yau Ma Tei rooftop some time around 2011, and since then, we have been gardening together as Yaumatei Gardener, researching economical and eco-friendly modes of planting, as well as working with food waste issues. Yaumatei Gardener has organized a number of outreach projects and produced publications but this year has shifted the focus back to maintaining its own rooftop space. Yaumatei Gardener is represented in The HK FARMers’ Almanac by Dorothy Cheung and Kiki Ho.
