Founded in January 2001, MCCM Creations remains an independent Hong Kong publisher.  Despite a continuously tough uphill scenario for culture publishing, we still enjoy working with creators who have a strong desire to explore different approaches in making original and inspiring works. Our publishing areas are visual culture-focused, crossing boundaries of art, design, architecture, heritage, regional cultures, and literature. Because of our love of stories and hand-drawn illustration, we also publish a short list of illustration picture books. Over the years, we have initiated, collaborated and put together numerous author activities, book events, literary and cultural programs for various organisations such as Fringe Club, Home Affairs Bureau, Hong Kong Arts Centre, Goethe Institut, British Council, and the like.  Between 2009 and 2014, we ran the bookshop at the Hong Kong Arts Centre to support a diverse selection of visual culture publications for the lesser-known publishers and the readers.  Should there be any good resources in the future, we are open to reconnect with our supporters and members through STORY, our new NGO project.
