Patrick Gunawan Hartono began his music education at the High School of Music, Jogyakarta, majoring in flute, studied under Haris Wahyudi, and Kusyanto. He continued at the Pelita Harapan Conservatory of Music for Electronic Music with Otto Sidartha as well as Field Recording. In 2007-2008, he returned to Jogjakarta and studied at Indonesian Art Institute (ISI), and collaborated with performing art artists in art festivals such us International Water Festival 2008, Bedog International Art Festival, Yogyakarta Contemporary Music Festival, Womcat 2012, IDF 2012, etc. Michael Asmoro was his mentor during his life in Jogja. In 2009 – 2011, he went to Institute for Sonology, and Conservatory in Den Haag for Electronic Music course, where he worked in BEA 5 studio and Stockhausen Studio. He studied Electronic Music Composition with Gilius van Berkijk, voltage control with Kees Tazelaar, and Interactive Music Programming with Johan van Kreij. Patrick is currently lives in Den Haag and studies at Codarts – Rotterdam for New Media Composition.
